FREMONT Construction is underway on the second stage of Campus @ Bayside, an advanced manufacturing center in Fremont that could host 1,000 or more jobs once fully built out. With 9th Street Partners and Clarion Partners as the principal real estate firms behind the development, the first three buildings are already complete. Taiwan-based MiTAC, an electronics, assembly, and technology services firm, has leased the entire campus at the corner of Bayside Parkway and Gateway Boulevard. MiTAC pre-leased all six buildings to support the company s server manufacturing operations, according to information provided to this news organization. Commercial real estate firm CBRE arranged the deal to bring MiTAC to the tech hub as its sole tenant. Campus @ Bayside totals 473,300 square feet, according to CBRE. The campus is within Fremont s Bayside Technology Park. Nearby tech companies include Tesla, Seagate, Zoox and Bloom Energy.
